I know some of you are still looking for goodies for your spoilee's kits and some of you need christmas ideas. So here are two books I got for my birthday that might be to you liking.
"Crocheted Socks! 16 Fun_to-Stitch Patterns"
Absolutely wonderful book. Well written, well illustrated. Would be excellent for any skill level crocheter and for the knitter who wants to try crochet. - IMO
"You can crochet socks"
A waste of time and money. Only one of the patterns in made with sock weight yarn, and I've had to heavily modify it to make a sock that fits and looks good.
The rest are made with heavier and thicker yarns that make socks that remind me of the old horror crocheted socks. - IMO
Your crazy for crocheted socks, Grandma
Labels: book review, crocheted socks
Thank you Grandma! I crochet but have yet to try crocheting socks, so your book/pattern recommendations are very helpful.
