Meet Our New DADA Professor

I have been receiving a lot of inquiries about when our new DADA Professor would be arriving. He is now here at Hogwarts and I have been helping him get comfortable and acquainted with the school. I would like to introduce Professor Lucious..er..Lucius Whitmarsh.

Professor Whitmarsh comes to us after spending a term at Durmstrang. He was very disillusioned to find that at Durmstrang they were actually teaching the Dark Arts and, after seeing the results, he decided he wanted to teach young minds how to defend against those forces. I will tell you that he is very accomplished in working magic with his wand.

If you are interested in meeting with Professor Whitmarch, please see me as I am handling his appointment calendar.

Please block out the appointment diary for me. I find that my DADA skills are sadly in need of intense remedial tuition from Professor Lucius.

Oh man! Someone beat me to the punch! Well, you can't keep him all to yourself. There are many of us in dire need of DADA help! I for one would like Tuesday evenings, say from 7-10. Thanks! :)

Tutoring??! *scoffs slightly* On a serious note, class time would be nice.

And to the DADA professor, welcome to Hogwarts. I'm new here, too.

Oh no! A horrible thought just came to me.
A good looking chap coming to Hogwarts to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, sort of reminds me of someone....

He hasn't written any books like Gadding with Ghouls or Travels with Trolls has he?

Witches and Wizards PLEASE... no need to fight over the DADA professor... have you all forgotten about the hourglass time-turner... available to everyone who wants to take more than one class given during the same time period?!! I'm sure Headmistress Wartobble could make one available to Professor Whitmarsh and all your *ahem* tutorial needs could be met! Ah ha, problem solved! ;-)

Down, down, everyone! If I think of it, I'll mention that a few are interested in tutoring. I'm not really sure how much time he'll have though. WE are reorganizing his office and it's taking much more time than we thought it would. I tend to be rather clumsy with some of those bottles and then we're need to spend time cleaning up all that shattered glass from the floor.

Heck, we will be lucky if we see him in class. I would ask for tutoring time but all my evenings are already spoken for.
